The Little Bun did not take a nap today. I did not get a break. He's been sick. He whines when he's sick. I do to. It's no fun feeling crappy.
He's needy and clingy when sick. I choose to indulge these things more when he's like this. Still I need a break. Thank goodness I run.
Ever get really angry? Try taking that energy and running as fast as you can. It doesn't last long. Not for me anyway. If I run full-blast, I run out of steam about 5 minutes later. I slow down. I stop.
I stand bent over panting. Forgetting why I was ever mad.

Oh man, you are so right.
I don't jog. It's a girl v. gravity thing, but I do the walk and ride and cannot live without it.
So you are the primary caregiver! That is great! I know it doesn't seem so always.
My b-i-l is the primary caregiver of my nephews (4-8yrs.) and he has to have a similar exhaust.
It's going to sound so stereotypical and trite, but you might find yourself missing even the cranky stuff in such a short time. Very short.
Good for you getting it all on record. If I found something like this of my father's from the time I was a child it would be a treasure. Priceless.
Chin up! It'll get silly before long and probably already has.
Be well!
Correction: I meant when HE was young.
Your son will get to know you more because of what you are doing now.
What a gift. But you know that. Your 5 things told me so!
