Thank You Eyeball

Rather than title today's episode something lame like "Updates" or "Housekeeping". I doll out the thanks so this somewhat surreal title seemed appropriate. Tip O the hat to DaftGretel and her son for this one.link

  1. San Fran Ducky says thank you.
  2. Running Home gets all 100 votes!
  3. Call 1-866-473-7865 to control what Mr. Sketch-it says and does.

Awed-ible Hipster

Rachael was delivered to the airport with plenty of time to catch her flight. Until someone figures out how to send a beer through the Interslice, we all will just have to keep running into each other like this.

Magical Satur-Ze

Watch the Video

Saturday was Ze Frank's last show. Last Sunday I had a 3 hour run. Along the way I recorded around 30 takes of me saying "Thank you Ze." It was for Le Disabled Vlog's The Invisible Man's project. But time was running out. I submitted just the last clip. Here's the whole shootin' match.

Vote 4 Me

Go here and vote for my project at GiveMeaning. I only need 30 more votes and my Running Home project will be accepted. Once that happens I can begin raising $10,000 to end homelessness in Minneapolis.

Mummenschanz Calling

About a year ago I made a little video in tribute to the visual theatre group Mummenschanz. I had just started a little online service called sketch-it. At the time I didn't know what to call the feature. I constructed a name that was inspired by Professor The Internet.

I performed this video to the song C.O.F.F.E.E. by Ralph Covert to get things started. The original idea was to have people send in audio files that I would act out using the Mr. Sketch-It mask. Here's the original post: link

I had made many videos in the past but never a video blog. There were these cheap video recorders I had been hacking and they worked out perfectly fitting into the mask. I still have the mask and the cameras. And now I have a 1-800 number. So give us a call. If I like your audio, I'll act it out using the mask and post it here.

Give us a call at 1-866-I-R-DRUNK or 1-866-473-7865

JackHammer

There are just some things that get under my skin. It takes extreme patience and personal control for me not to devolve into a primal scream. Heck. Sometimes I scream anyway. But it's not always apropriate.

Instead I grit my teeth and bear it.

Walter Wahl

During my 80 min. run on Friday, I encountered a regular at the track. A man dressed in a gray sweat suit. His proportions make him appear to be very tall. Like 7 feet tall but he's actually only 5 feet tall.

Thank you gray sweat suit man. You are the inspiration for today's episode of Running Commentary.
